My name is Janice Shafer, and I am recently retired from Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) where I had over 36 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, their family members, and agencies that provide services to these individuals. At the present time I am an instructor at AutismUp in their Full Life Academy teaching Career Exploration and Empower U. My focus has been on improving the lives of those I work with, and helping individuals achieve their highest level of independence. I have spent years advocating and empowering those I worked with. I am available to talk and identify what steps you can take toward a life of endless possibilities.
